Two left feet

In the last week I have managed to fall twice!  My poor knee's, they hate me.  I tripped over something in the back yard and another time I slipped on the door frame going into the backyard. Maybe the backyard hates me!?  

I am getting very antsy for my trip to California, I can't wait to see my brother and his family and the rest of the fam too! 

Tomorrow I am 14 weeks along! And I am officially in my 2nd trimester.  Just had a thought that then comes the 3rd... then BABY. =/ I am still feeling pretty good, still have a barf here and there but it's not as bad as it was.

Joe is doing good, working hard and just finished another class. Starts a new class on Monday again.  

We are hoping these spring showers go away, and soon!  I'm over the jackets and umbrellas and the gloom.  Couldn't have picked a better time to get some Cali sun soon, I am in desperate need.

Showing?

I am 13 weeks along today.  My family and friends have asked if I am showing yet. It can be hard to say when I didn't start out with a flat belly and rock hard abs =/  I don't fit in my jeans comfortably anymore unless I add a rubber band to the button hole to extend the waist.  My Mom got me some maternity jeans and I have started to fall in love with them.  They are so much more comfortable than my regular jeans.  This is quite an awkward stage of "did she just eat too much? Or is she pregnant?".  I am really looking forward to the warmer weather so I can throw on a sun dress and call it a day!  I'm sure I will post pic's soon (as soon as I get the courage to) to show my progress.  

Oh, and I am pretty much over my morning/noon/night sickness!! I have been feeling a lot better and have energy!  

This week the baby is the size of a peach.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage!!

Well if you haven't heard already, I'm pregnant!  Joe and I couldn't be more excited and blessed.  Tomorrow I will be 11 weeks along.  I am due September 30th.  I had my first doctors appointment yesterday, Joe was able to be there, and we got to hear the heartbeat. It was amazing.  It has taken some time for this pregnancy thing to sink in even though I have been sick morning and night and exhausted all the time.  I was able to get some medicine to help with the sickness and so far so good! Wish I had it a lot sooner.  We have our first ultrasound appointment May 13th, my nephews birthday! And that day we will hopefully find out if we are having a boy or a girl, if they cooperate ; )

Other news in the Hoffman house... Same old stuff. Joe is doing great in school and at work.
