Happy New Year

Where did 2009 go?

It was quite the year for us.  It was this time last year I lost my job.  Then we moved in with my parents, few months later the decision was made to move to Oregon.  We stayed with Joe's aunt and uncle for awhile until Joe was blessed wtih a job.  Then we moved to Vancouver Washington.  It has been so awesome to be 10  minutes away from our best friends again and be around to see their adorable son Tabor grow and change. I think the pace of life here suits us well aslo.  We have been able to see Joe's cousins who also live up here more than about once a year as it was before.  But we still havent gotten use to not having our parents around and our sibblings.  When I have gone back to SoCal for visits now, time spent with family is a thousand times more precious than ever before.  We recently had Joe's parents with us for a short visit and in one more week my parents will be here! 

Joe started another semester of school, and so far so good.

We are really excited for Lizzi, Joe's younger sister, and Chris because they are engaged to be married May 1st 2010!  I am honored to be a co-matron of honor and Joe is excited to be a groomsmen.
